OVERVIEW
About the Avin Gold project
Avin Gold is a complete platform for following the prices of gold, coins, currencies, crypto and metals. The goal from day one was simple: the user sees every symbol change the moment it happens, without refreshing the page, and gets analysis tools on the level of a trading platform.
The project has two separate parts: a price-processing core that collects data from several sources, validates and stores it, and a fast website that streams the same data live to thousands of visitors. Derived symbols such as 24-karat gold, intrinsic value and the coin premium are calculated automatically from the base prices.
Challenge
Price websites are usually either slow and cluttered or show nothing more than a bare number. We needed a system that streams prices second by second without loading the server, detects stale or invalid prices, and keeps an exact history of every symbol for charts and the archive.
Solution
Price collection was moved into an independent engine with a processing queue that manages the source, conversion factor and maximum valid age of every symbol separately. Prices reach the browser over WebSocket, and pages are rendered on the server with smart caching so they are both fast and readable by Google. New price sources are added from the admin panel without writing code.

Avin Gold admin panel
Behind the website sits a full admin panel that controls the entire price cycle: defining symbols and categories, connecting data sources and mapping each source's code to a site symbol, and setting conversion factors and maximum price age. Prices with an abnormal jump go to a quarantine instead of being published, so an administrator can approve or reject them, and a quick-entry screen lets staff enter every symbol by hand in seconds when an automatic source is unavailable.

Avin Gold now runs on a complete price infrastructure that works without manual intervention: prices come from several sources, suspicious data is stopped before publishing, and users see every change instantly. The same infrastructure can be extended into a mobile app, a notification bot or a price API for other businesses.
